Montana Campus Corps:
College Students Meeting Critical Community Needs
The life of a nursing student by Brandy Bissegger

I truly feel blessed to have been apart of the first year nursing group at Salish Kootenai College. I could have asked for a more rewarding experience. During the course of the year, it was very challenging both physically and mentally. It take alot of dedication and hard to work to get the most fulfilling experience out of it. I feel very fortunate to have practiced the skills I had the opportunity to perform in clinical. I love working with people in general and taking care of them. I love the feeling of somebody relying on you and knowing you did something good for them. I couldnt Imagine myself doing anything different than becoming a nurse. With one year left as a nursing student, I am excited to see what the future holds for me. I am so thankful to be apart of this special group of people.
