My story is a little sad but it helped me realize that i am entering into the right career. During my second day of clinicals in nursing i was picked to care for a patient who was pretty sick. After a set of vitals and no communication we determined that the patients was close to passing. A family member was called and I was able to sit and console them through this tough time. We reflected back to memories and I learned things that i will never forget. Even though it was such a hard time to go through I felt as though i had made a great friend and was able to show compassion in order to help this family memeber.
