Walking into a patient room I instantly become a part of their life, even if it’s just for the next few minutes. I might be the one who makes that critical diagnosis or spends the extra time to learn what is truly hiding behind the pain that they present with. It’s those moments and those people who make my life rewarding and remind me why I chose to become a physician assistant. My experience as campus corp member helped me continue on my journey as a medical provider and reminded me that through my skills and knowledge I am able to make a difference in the life of my patients and community.
