College Students Meeting Critical Community Needs

Over my past term of service I was able to assist patients in a variety of environments. My most valuable experinece involed providing end of life care for one of our community's greatest volunteers. This gentleman had been active in almost every part of our small community, mentoring the youth, acting as part of many volunteer boards, and working as a member of our local hospital foundation. His impact on the community will be felt for years to come. I felt honored to be part of allowing him a death surrounded by love and dignity. Campus Corps allowed me to be part of this man's life, AND HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED
