Preparing for Nursing as a Profession. by Sarah Ham

I began my Americorps service learning though Montana State University College of Nursing. I was able to provide nursing care to patients at the local hospitals as a student nurse. From this experience, with my instructors and fellow students, I am learning the nursing processes and skills that are absolutely necessary to become a successful registered nurse. I am thankful for the opportunity because I know that I have grown professionally and that it has added significantly to my education and career.
