Before completing my Bachelor's degree, I student taught in a 5th grade classroom. My presence in the class grew slowly, but affectionately. I started my term a quiet helping hand and turned into a respected teacher. The students were so amazing! We gradually got to know each other and there isn't a single one I'm not going to miss.

5th grade mentality is awesome.

They are growing into young ladies and gentlemen, but are still kids who love to laugh and play. I feel like a kid at heart sometimes, so we meshed well! My final day, the students organized a going away party, where they ran the show. I was very proud of them. I felt like I saw them grow a little right before my eyes. It was a rewarding experience and I'm lucky to have got to work with such a GREAT group of students!
