Kids Camp 2011 by Kasey Haugan

The camp started off a bit slow but it was great to be able to see the kids grow and become more comfortable with each other. As we did more trust based activities you could see the kids that were a bit more shy. "Steve" was very scared to let his grown team catch him in a trust fall. I was so happy to be able to get him comfortable enough to trust that his group would catch him. As soon as they caught him his face lit up with a huge smile and from that point on he was the first to volunteer to do things first. He told me over and over how much fun he had at camp and had he not taken a risk he may not have had the same experience. I was so glad to be able to be a part of that and see it all happen.
