One family at a time. by Melinda Ratchye Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, has truly blessed my life. Helping families gain such a basic need as decent affordable home, is so rewarding. I was painting a room and a little 6 year old girl shyly came up to me and said "this is my room" the joy in her eyes was priceless. I will continue to serve the community well after my time in Campus Corps is over, knowing that even simple things like swinging a hammer and painting walls truly impact peoples lives.
